Playschemes
Lancaster Boys and Girls Club works in conjunction with CEEP to provide a fun summer of activities, running for four weeks, for young people aged 8–11 in Lancaster and Morecambe. The playschemes cover both Lancaster (The Ridge, Ryelands and the Castle Ward) and Morecambe (Heysham and Poulton).
Activities include art, music, sports, trips to a zoo, learning experiences and trips to climbing, walks and activity centres. Venues include Morecambe Bay Primary School, Bay Leadership Academy, the Ridge Community Centre and Our Lady’s Catholic College. For more information email playscheme@ceep.org.uk.
Summer Schemes
Over the summer we provide trips and activities for young people aged 12–18 who attend Lancaster Boys and Girls Club. During school holidays we offer sessions and provide trips both locally and regionally, so that we can offer lower-cost trips for members from lower-income families.
We also work with schools, councils and other voluntary organisations to help young people access further education. Working with local partners extends the variety of sessions we offer, including football tournaments, a pool tournament, eGaming days and activity days.
